Peter and John got in trouble with the religious leaders of their day after they healed a crippled man and began preaching the name of Jesus. Peter and John were arrested. When they were brought before the Sanhedrin, Peter spoke to them with courage and authority. When the Sanhedrin told them to stop preaching about Jesus, Peter and John boldly defied them.
