During this time where many in and around our congregation are confused, grieving, scared, and angry, we will minister with the following convictions:
+ We stand BIBLICALLY for the Dignity of all people despite their immigration status.
+ We stand SOCIALLY for our constitution which allows for due process and assume innocence until guilt is proven.
+ Our campus will have designated spaces where individuals can have space that will allow for due process. ICE agents or any law enforcement agents are not welcome into our private spaces without presenting warrants signed by a judge for the arrest of specific individuals.
+ We will be peacefully, civilly disobedient if necessary (as Christian Leaders before us have been for the Civil rights movement. That said, we will not lie, deceive, or act in any unbiblical manner, especially violence or aggression toward our law enforcement or government agencies. We will choose the way of Christ.
+ People need to be made aware of their rights and the resources available to them. Our denomination has gathered some of these resources below. Please make yourself aware of them and share them.
