Matthew 9:35-38 - Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom & healing every disease and sickness. 36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed & helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. 38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”

Our mission tells us why we exist and as a Jesus-centered community, we are modeled after the life and ministry of Jesus as summarized in -- Matthew 9:35-38.

VISION

THE RIVER CHURCH--- We exist to be a people-loving place that reaches the lost and sends disciples into the river!

1. We see LLCF as a growing and diverse church embracing all people, locally and globally, connecting them with the transforming power of the Gospel.

2. We see LLCF reaching out to its community through Spirit-empowered believers who use their gifts and talents to make a difference through loving acts of service.

3. We see LLCF discipling people into transformed daily living.
8. We see LLCF living out its unique call to be a River Church, training and deploying disciple-makers and healthy leaders with a multiplication vision.
4. We see LLCF equipping people to engage their community as their mission field through creative expressions that draw hearts to Jesus.
9. We see LLCF collaborating with civic and Christian organizations to promote the good news into spheres of influence everywhere.
5. We see LLCF advancing the Kingdom of God by influencing culture and the body of Christ with relevant messages of truth through music, storytelling, preaching and published works.
10. We see LLCF sending short-term mission teams and creating long-term partnerships with international locations.
